THE OPPOSITION IN ZIMBABWE NEEDS NEW STRATEGIES

Over the weekend President Emmerson Mnangagwa was a guest at a ZCC gathering at Defe, Gokwe. A lot of people were mocking him. Most of us agree that Zanu-PF has failed Zimbabwe but the surprising thing is that they keep on winning elections across the country. 

Last year before the elections ED was also a guest at Marange Church in Bocha and a lot of people were also mocking his speech on social media. In March this year I visited my late uncle’s home kunobata maoko. Whilst talking to my cousin a member of Marange church, I gave him my WhatsApp number and he told no his is not on WhatsApp 😳

The younger cousin then explained to me that the church leader had banned all the church members from using social media. ZCC, Marange, Madzibaba, Magaya’s, Makandiwa’s churches have millions of potential voters combined. A lot of these members listen to their church leaders on whom to vote for. I also gave an example of EFF leaders visiting ZCC churches in Moria, Limpopo during large gatherings and I was ridiculed.

A lot of Zimbabweans on social media are not even in Zimbabwe and are not registered voters yet MDC does not go to change hearts and minds of people on the ground🤷🏿‍
